This is a very comfortable shoulder bag/purse to use, just the right size for everyday running around town. The main bag is knit in one piece using 80cm circular needles. The strap is knit on either the circular needles or a pair of needles, both bag and strap have knitted on Icord edges trims. I have then knit a short length of Icord to use as the bag closure with a stainless steel ring added for weight. The strap is attached to the bag with a pair of stainless steel rings and this is the only sewing up there is other than a few ends to darn in.

I do all my felting in my washing machine and felt my projects to the point where no knitting stitches are visible and the fabric is then durable and doesn’t stretch when used.

Note - The Bendigo Woollen Mills colour is graphite for those who need to know!
