This is a favourite bag of mine, it’s a really comfy shoulder bag/purse with an adjustable strap length and also has a nice big flap to keep your personal items private.

The bag, flap and strap are knit all in one piece using an 80cm circular needle and a pair of double point needles to add the attached Icord contrast trim. There is no actual sewing up just a few ends to darn in before felting. Of course this bag could be knit in one colour, or just two colours or make a couple of different ones to cover every scenario.

I do all my felting in my washing machine and felt my projects to the point where no knitting stitches are visible and the fabric is then durable and doesn’t stretch when used.
