This is a fun little bag for a casual everyday look, using any combination of colours. The bag is knit in one piece on 80cm circular needles and a pair of double point needles are used to knit the Icord handles and attached Icord. The contrast detail is formed by knitting lengths of Icord that are then inserted into your bag before felting. There is no sewing up just ends to darn in. I crochet across the bottom edge of the bag to close but of course you could simply sew this if desired.

I do all my felting in my washing machine and felt my projects to the point where no knitting stitches are visible and the fabric is then durable and doesn’t stretch when used.
