If you are anything like me, while you might like the look of fingerless mitts, they just are not practical in cold weather. So, I decided to make individual fingers and add them retrospectively to my gloves.

You’ll need to use a yarn suitable for the gauge of your mitts. I am using Double Knit as my mitts were made in DK.

If you draw around your dominant hand and measure/ mark down the length of each finger, you can compare the size to mine and hopefully adjust accordingly: Thumb, index/forefinger, middle finger, ring finger, little finger/ pinky.

I look forward to seeing your retrospective fingered gloves projects.
