This penguin is 7” tall and measures 12 1/2” around the belly, stuffed. The white belly is knitted separately and sewed around the edges, leaving the top open so that he can hold your money (or secret notes, maps, directions to buried treasure, etc). Exact gauge is not crucial. I used Louet Gems Sport Weight for the body and feet, on size 2 double pointed needles. Knitpicks fingering weight with size one needles was used for the nose. Two buttons are needed for the eyes, unless you want to embroider the eyes.
