Growing up in the 50’s found many of us going to bed with our hair in rag curlers. Our mothers made them from narrow strips of old sheets and placed a slit in the center. Not only were they comfortable to sleep in, but they gave us great curls in the morning!

Here’s our version, only knitted.

Each curlers takes approximately 16 - 18 yds to make and one skein of Cotton Fleece will make about 13 curlers)

Skill Level - Super Easy!

Be sure to use a neutral or undyed worsted weight yarn so that no dye will bleed color on to wet hair.
