This dress is worked top-down and seamless, beginning with a provisional cast-on.The design is meant to resemble the look of the sewn hand smocked Bishop baby dresses that my own mother used to make. The long sleeves help to make it a lovely winter holiday dress. The 4 button placket at the back neck make it easy to slip over the head of a squirming baby. :)
