This design is based on the motif chart included in the Knitter’s Basket Christmas Stocking pattern. Instructions for incorporating the motif with a border are provided. An additional yardage chart is included as well. I replaced the plain and seed stitch pattern, in the stocking instructions with at basket weave stitch pattern. Duh.

The Pillow Top, once created and blocked, is applied to an appropriate size ready made pillow.

The pattern is scalable and will work with most yarns as long as the border yarn is the same weight and gage as the motif.
