Ever wanted to make more than one knitted item at a time? What about a hat? We all know there are ways to knit two socks at a time on circular needles. What about knitting two at a time on double point needles? One inside of the other?

This is a tutorial for knitting two hats at a time on double point needles, one inside of another. You will need a set of 5 dpns and a straight needle, both in the same size. Pictorial instructions are given as to how to cast on, knit ribbing, and knit straight stockinette using dpns. When you are finished, you will have not just one, but two baby hats. Plus, you’ll be the envy of all your knitting friends. Just saying…

Pattern included in this tutorial is downloadable through Ravelry.com. It is by Rachel Sonntag and called Simple Toddler Hat. It is used with permission and given freely on Ravelry.
