Knopfling is an easy and casual cowl that makes a quick and satisfying project. “Scarf” and “buttonhole band” are knitted separately and then joined by kitchener stitch. You can give the cowl a more unisex look by knitting a garter or moss stitch buttonhole band directly onto the scarf part.
