The Knot a Helix pattern is an overall cable with lace filling the open spaces. The stitch pattern can be adapted to many different projects. Use a fine lace or fingering weight yarn to create light shawls. Use worsted or aran weight for sweaters. And bulky weight yarn would make a lovely blanket.

The stitch pattern itself is 16 stitches over 12 rows and is very easy to memorize. The cowl design can be any width or length desired.
