This is a recipe for crocheted rope baskets made from clothesline and thin rope. The tutorial explains how to start the basket, how to build the basket walls, and how to finish it, but do not show you what size or shape to make. That part is up to you.

a 6-8” tall basket as shown will use about 25 feet of clothesline and 100 feet of thin rope. You can also use crochet thread or synthetic worsted weight yarns instead of thin rope.
