This toasty warm headband is made in bulky yarn and double knit to keep out breezes. A Celtic knot decorates the crown of the headband. The simple I-cord embellishment looks difficult but is very easy. It is sewn on with yarn and a tapestry needle. A schematic is included as well as pictorial step-by-step instructions for tying the Celtic knot.

The closure at the back of the neck is made with two decorative buttons.

Any soft bulky weight yarn will work beautifully for this headband.
