Our everyday lives provide us with far too much information to process. Our brains naturally filter and compartmentalize the inputs to make sense of it all. The filters we apply, consciously or subconsciously, greatly affect how we see our environment. Six colours are thoroughly combined in this cowl to create a chaotic mixed background. Order is brought to the surface of the fabric by applying various filters.

Six colours are thoroughly combined in this hat to create a chaotic mixed background. Ribbons of gradient colour are brought to the surface of the fabric by systematically filtering out colours. This hat is knit in the round and comes in four sizes. The height is easily adjustable; to fit snugly with no slouch, or lots of slouch.

Use miniskeins or scrap yarn to give this a try! Minis from Advent sets or minis from one dyer make colour selection easy!
