I got a mail and I quote: “Knus” – Hug. For me it means to hug autumn instead of complaining about the weather etc.
Being wrapped in something light, warm and cosy
– isn´t it something we all want/need?
I agree!

An easy round yoke sweater in 6 sizes worked with different sets of rib patterns at the yoke and broken rib at the body and sleeves.
The sweater is worked from the top down with the possibility to adjust the length of the sleeves and the body.

The work starts with rib at the neck and afterward short rows for a lowered neckline. The increases for yoke and arms create a rounded yoke. After finishing the yoke, the sleeves are separated on waste yarn, and the body is worked from the armholes to hem and then a rib is worked before bind off. Work the sleeves one at a time by putting the stitches back from waste yarn to the working needles and work in rounds with decreases to the cuffs. The cuffs are worked in rib before bind off.

Gauge:
10cm x 10cm/4” x 4”: 18 sts over 26 rows/rnds in broken rib pattern and needle 5.0mm/US 8
(Broken rib pattern: see instructions below)

Broken rib pattern

Rnd 2: ‘k1, p1’, repeat ‘-’ to end of rnd

Yarn:
This version is worked with two qualities of yarn held together to achieve a loose airy fabric.

Other yarns can be used, but keep in mind that using other yarn qualities might lead to a different overall look of the sweater. It can also affect the amount of yarn needed.
Please keep in mind that yardage is an estimate
