Stylish, modern and perfect for everyday use this cushy cardigan can be used instead of a coat on a cold spring day.

Kodiak has simple construction with minimal shaping and cable panel running down the back. Predominantly knit in rib it has little details such as i-cord finished edges, fake raglan seams, stockinette st sleeves with roll-up cuffs.
There are lots of different techniques used such as tubular cast on and cast off, short rows, 3-needle bind off, for which links to video tutorials are included.
Kodiak is knit in Aran weight yarn, choose wool or wool blends. The approximate usage is based on the Kettle Yarn Waltham aran yarn 100% BFL. If substituting it would be sensible to get extra ball or skein as all yarns are spun differently.
Kodiak is also quite long with generous ease (8-10”) so seaming of the sides is strongly suggested to avoid vertical stretch especially when super wash wool is used. Sleeves are made in the round and start at the armhole to minimize seaming.

Due to the rib pattern this garment has more lateral stretch and the smaller size will fit larger bust measurement than stated above, for example the XS size will easily fit up to 40” bust. Choose the desired amount of ease.
