I grew up in the West Kootenays of British Columbia, Canada.
Being in the mountains, the weather can change rapidly regardless of season. Nothing was handier than having a nice pair of arm warmers to wear when the breeze turned chill. Less bulky than a sweater but impressively warm, they fit in a purse or pocket, ready for when you may need them.

The instructions include two sizes- fitted and loose.

The pattern is super easy to customize. Add more pattern repeats for a longer glove or less for a shorter one.

If you are experienced in glove knitting, it is also quite easy to add in a thumb if desired. I prefer my arm warmers thumbless as I work with my hands, and like to push my sleeves up rather than constantly take the gloves off and put them on again.

Knit these up in a beautiful worsted weight yarn and enjoy!
