The Korona Hat is a stranded color work hat knit in the round and sized to fit a 21 inch/ average adult/teen head after blocking. The hat can be patted into a beanie shape or blocked over a ten inch dinner plate for a tam/beret shape.

The pattern as charted calls for six shades of Jamieson’s Shetland Spindrift in shades of gold and jewel tones evoking a crown. Photos and an alternative color way are included but you should feel free to substitute your favorite colors.

Knitting begins with two color ribbing and finishes closing the top of the crown. The short repeats make this an easy knit if you are new to colorwork.
