Koronki is a dreamy and elegant cardigan with a flattering, relaxed drape that hints at curves without clinging.
The swingy A-line shape is created by the lace triangle that grows from a small twisted cable down the back.

The cardigan is knitted in one piece from the centre back collar down to the hem, collar, front bands and all. Well, the sleeves (top-down, set-in, worked in the round) have to be knitted one at a time, of course, but there is no sewing in sight.

This is a new technique – Åsa’s Top-Down Ziggurat Tricnique! – inspired by Tuulia’s Tailored Sweater Method but knitted in one go, so to speak.

The gorgeous drape is provided by the dreamy yarn, Faery Wings, which inspired the design. For alternative yarn choices, I recommend that you use a drapey yarn, such as a silk/merino blend or maybe a bamboo blend. Alpaca would probably work well, too.
