I like to have something to hold my hair back, and thought a knitted kerchief would look more feminine than a bandana. The kerchief has a comfortable fit around your head, and can adjust to be loose or tight. This should fit most sizes, but the ties can be knit longer by casting on more stitches. Just make sure there are 90 stitches on the needles after binding off the ties.

Pattern updated as of 8/23/2012 with a new pattern layout, using a new yarn, as well as a few tweaks to make the pattern extend further into the center.

Note: this pattern was previously made with the Jaggerspun Zephyr double stranded. The gauge and written instructions are nearly the same between the old and new version.
