Krotasokkar is a traditional Norwegian stocking. The design is a pattern of twisted and traveling stitches, purls, and tiny cable-like stitches. I designed the sock to be worked toe up, but it can easily be altered and worked cuff down.

Traditionally these socks were dyed black for women or left white for men once they were completed.
