NOTES
The cowl is worked in the round from the bottom up and entirely inside out, keeping purling to a minimum. It starts with a tubular cast on and 1x1 rib, fol- lowed by repeats of a cable pattern. Decreases are incorporated throughout the circumference of the cowl to achieve a conical shape, allowing it to rest on the neck and shoulders in a flattering way. The cowl is finished with 1x1 rib and a tubular bind off. Cable patterns can be worked from charts or text.
