Kuroba began as an April Fool’s joke in 2019. The sweater was covered in over 500 stitch markers, as a “design feature”. Now regular old Kuroba is available! Kuroba means “clover” in Japanese, a little nod to the Japanese company Clover, who manufactures those little plastic locking stitch markers so many of us use…

Construction notes
Sweater is worked from the bottom up, in one piece. Sleeves are knitted in the round from the cuff up, with shaping worked in pattern. Body is worked flat, in one piece, to the underarms; sleeves and body are joined together and worked in one piece to collar. Yoke decreases are worked in pattern. Collar, cuffs, bottom hem and front trims are all worked in 1x1 rib. Body and sleeves are worked in an allover alternating tuck stitch pattern.

Yardage
Approximately (1220, 1300, 1555)(1770, 1890, 2115)(2335, 2505, 2735) y / (1115, 1190, 1420)(1620, 1730, 1935)(2135, 2290, 2500) m

Finished “bust” sizes
This measurement pretends there is no gap in the front, and gives an idea of the fit and the ease.
