This colorful ethnographic mitten is from the Kuldiga region of the District of Kurzeme, Latvia. The cuff has a picot edge or what is called “mouse teeth” in Latvia. It is knit using a total of six colors with two to four colors being knit contemporaneously. This is an 84 stitch mitten consisting of 3 repeats of 28 stitches per repeat.
