This ethnographic mitten is from Rucava, Latvia. The cuff of 104 stitches is knit in ribbing in the MC and alternating CC: it is the contrasting colors that are purled which showcases the purl bumps. The upper mitten requires 120 stitches or 30 stitches for each of 4 needle. The upper mitten is knit in three colors throughout.
