This is a pattern featured in The Bones/Samhain 2008 Anticraft magazine which ran a dia de los muertos theme this year.

The chart shows 3 different colour options. I used several of the King Cole 4ply cones, which are quite cheap to purchase but use any leftover sock yarns. Really, to complete the look, the blank eye sockets should be embroidered with flowers, some lazy daisy petals would do to make it look traditional

I used this to put some lavender herbs in to hang in his wardrwobe, knowing that he would not want a girlie floral bag dangling amongst his woolllies and leather.
