This mitten pattern is named after one of my closest friends, Laurin (LaLa) at http://scrapnknit.blogspot.com . One of her favorite yarns is Karabella Boise (soo wonderful and luxurious) and I created this pattern in honor of her and this yarn.

The mittens are meant to be form fitting and not bulky. If the Boise doesn’t float your boat, you can use any dk luxury yarn. The Boise’s 50% cashmere/50% merino is hard to beat, though!
