La Lune Rousse is the first of eight patterns in the Courtesans shawl collection.

Extravagant and flamboyant, Cora Pearl, took Paris by storm. Frequently pictured with her trademark pearl necklaces, this shawl is a homage to her.

La Lune Rousse is an asymmetric semi-circular shawl with short row shaping, beads, eyelets and lace, worked from the top-down. The beads are optional, and instructions are included for both beaded and un-beaded versions.
