La Mer (the sea), named after one of my favorite orchestral pieces from the French impressionist composer Claude Debussy, evokes the soft waves of the ocean with a lace pattern that perfectly complements the subtle variations of hand dyed yarns. Knit from the cuff down, La Mer is deceptively easy and will work up quickly.
