cast on 15 sts, knit to rows as follows
row 1:k14, bind bind last st. with the first st. from your left needle
Row 2: slip the firs st. purlwise, k14
Chart 2
Row 1: k3, yo, k1, yo, k10, bind last st. with the first st. from your left needle
Row 2: slip the first st. purlwise, k16
Row 3: k3, yo, k3, yo, k2tog, k8, bind bind last st. with the first st. from your left needle
Row 4: slip the first st. purlwise, k16

Update - 2nd October 2011
For those with doubts with the short rows shaping:
Row 1: k1, M1, k30, w&t the next st. (33 sts),
Row 2: k 33 from your left needle
Row 3: k1, M1, k29, w&t the next st. (32 sts),
Row 4: k32 from your left needle
Row 5: k1, M1, k28, w&t the next st. (31 sts),
Row 6: k31 from your left needle
And so on, until you finish to work over all stitches from your right needle.

Update - 14 September 2011
For those with difficulties to set up chart 1, please have a look in the written description for the first two right side rows (do not forget that on wrong side you knit following the pattern; knit over knit and purl over purl)
Chart 1: Multiple fo 8 + 3 sts.
Row 1: k1, yo, (ssk, k6, yo) x 14 or 16 times, (ssk, k6, yo, ssk) x 1 time, k1 (center stitch); k1, yo, (ssk, k6, yo) x 16 times, ssk, k6, yo, ssk, k1
Row 3: k2, (yo, ssk k3, k2tog, yo, k1) x 16 times, ssk, k3, k2tog, yo, k2, k1 (center stitch); k2, yo, (ssk, k3, k2tog, yo, k1) x 14 or 16 times, yo, ssk, k3, k2tog, yo, k3,

The shawlette is knitted in one piece using circular knitting needle (back and forward) and in 3 (three) steps, without braking the yarn.
