L’abeille is “the bee” in French and the name of the stitch pattern used in this cloth is the Bee Stitch. Utilizing a series of knit stitches and slipped stitches, this textured cloth is fun to knit and works up quickly. It would be a lovely gift for any occasion or as a treat for yourself! The model was knit in MaggiKnits Linen yarn, but any DK weight linen or cotton yarn will work. Gauge is not critical for this project, but the model knit up to approximately 9 1/2 inches square.
