PDF pattern for a pair of Labrador Retriever fingerless mitts with a Labrador Retriever dog on the front of each. The palms of the mitts are plain.

The mitts in the photographs have been knitted in beige Drops Merino 4ply weight 100% wool. Each dog has a chocolate brown body, lime green eyes, black nose and mid pink mouth. The ears, head and legs are marked in light coffee 4ply wool. The mitts can be knitted in any 4ply wool, alpaca, cashmere or cotton.

The dogs were knitted using the intarsia method, but the mitts could be knitted in plain stocking stitch and the animals added afterwards using duplicate stitch.

The approximate measurements for the mitts are: 8.5cm/3.25” wide (unstretched and not counting the thumb), 13.5cm/5.25” long from top of ribbed cuff to cast-off edge and 2.5cm/1” deep ribbed cuff.

Charts for both left and right mitt are included, together with typed knitting instructions.
