Triangular shawl in garter stitch mosaic patterns.

The white background with the small lines and dots reminded me of a labyrinth seen from a helicopter view. That is why I named the shawl “Labyrinth”.

Construction:
The “body” of the shawl is worked bottom up and in garter stitch mosaic pattern. When you have finished the “body”, you knit up stitches along 2 sides of the triangle and work the edge in garter stitch and garter stitch mosaic pattern, ending with an I-cord.

Finished measurements:
wingspan 200 cm
from top to bottom at deepest point 80 cm
(after blocking)

Yarn:
Fingering weight.
The sample was knit using Miss Babs Yummy 2 ply (365 m/115 g), colour White Peppercorn (A) 630 m/2 skeins, and Obsidian (B) 420 m/2 skeins.

Gauge:
22 sts and 46 rows = 10 cm in mosaic pattern (unblocked).

Needle size:
3.5 mm circular needle, minimum 80 cm.
