Practice making openwork or lace stitches in Tunisian crochet with this small drawstring bag. I created a Canal Lace stitch for a cruise through the Panama Canal in 2019. Other stitches used are Double-Double and working into the upper horizontal loop.
Although this is a small bag, it is quite stretchy. If you decide to make a larger bag, you will need to do the math to determine the size of the gusset.
I worked the sample bag in 4 colours to show the construction of the bag, but it can also be done in one colour.
