This pattern is available as an excerpt over at Craftster (you don’t get the diagram, but the instructions are there).

Chart available in book only.

Gauge:
First 6 rounds of pattern worked measures 3” (8.5cm) in diameter.

Also, just so you know: the sugar starch solution does work but may take anywhere from 3-5 (or even more) days to dry. However, once dry, it will be hard as a rock, so be patient! I’ve never had a problem with ants or other critters.

ERRATA: My apologies for the mistakes in this pattern- but don’t let them discourage you, most of them are not critical and if you read them first, it shouldn’t be hard at all.

Please note, I am using a # in place of the asterisk, as Ravelry uses asterisks to mark off italicized text.

Round 7: Total count should state 24 ch-6 lps.
Round 8: Change all ch-5 lps mentioned in this Round to ch-6 loops. (referring to the previous round).
Round 9: Ch 3, dc in next 2 dc, ch 1, dc in next 3 dc, ch 6, sk next (sc, dc), sc in next dc, ch 6, sk next (dc, ch 2, dc), sc in next dc, ch 6, sk next (dc, sc),# dc in next 3 dc, ch 1, dc in next 3 dc, ch 6, sk next(sc, dc), sc in next dc, ch 6, sk next(dc, ch 2, dc), sc in next dc, ch 6, sk next (dc, sc), repeat from # around, sl st in top of beginning ch to join- 18 ch-6 loops
Round 10: Final count should read 24 ch-4 lps.
Round 11: Final count should read 30 ch-5 lps.
Round 12: Mentions of ch-4 lps should be ch-5 lps, and Final count should read 36 ch-5 lps.
Round 17: End of round should read to join--168 dc.
Round 20: Final count should read 14 V-sts.
Round 21: Final count should read 14 fans.

The number of chains in each loop is wrong on Round 7 of the chart (they should be ch-6 loops).
