This is a beautiful, lace-covered ornament that is deceptively quick to knit! With it’s lovely spiral pattern, and your choice of a “halo” yarn, or something with more shimmer, this really is a special gift! These are also very lovely set in a bowl.

Afraid of giving or using the glass ornaments? No problem! Michael’s carries a plastic one that looks the same as glass! Have some globes that are starting to lose their shimmer? This is a great cover-up for them! Perfect for a novelty yarn destash, as well….the smaller size uses only 15 yards.

The last 4 photos shown aren’t the exact same pattern….but they do show how the ornament looks, knit up with different yarns! This pattern is very forgiving. In fact, a couple of the ornaments shown, above, were made when I first designed the pattern, and I goofed it up! Can you tell? No one else will be able to.;)
