This pattern for a white crocheted edging applied to fabric is #16 in Magic Crochet issue 32. Instructions are on page 25 of Magic Crochet.
Pattern is designed for size 5 crochet thread to produce a 23” square mat. US size 4 hook.
Called “Dentelle pour set de table” in 1000 Mailles and “Puntillas para set” in Puntorama Ganchillo.
