Fingerless gloves are easy to make and are very useful. They are perfect for gift- giving and are always much appreciated by the recipient. This pair of gloves follows a beautiful lace pattern for the back of the hand. I like to include a thumb opening which prevents the glove from twisting around the hand. For this pair, I have used a vertical thumb opening which is inconspicuous, yet very practical. The matching hat follows the same pattern as the back of the hand and makes a perfect match for the gloves.

This design is part of Fall 2009 issue of Lace ‘n More magazine and is available at the single issue price of $10.00.
