One 8-stitch lace pattern repeat = 1” in gauge. This pattern was written to fit an average woman’s hand and should be suitable for most sizes. To adjust for different sizes, cast on more or less stitches in 8-stitch increments in order to add or remove pattern repeats to obtain the ideal fit.
