From The Pattern:
This shawl was actually pretty much inspired by Nikol Lohr‘s Woodland Shawl. But what I wanted was to create a lacy leaf pattern for a triangular shawl. And here is the result: the “Lace Leaves Shawl”. There are knit stitches but also purl stitches which make the whole pattern threedimensional. The border consists of lacy diamonds that appear between the leaves, become smaller and finally end in the scalloped lace edging, which forms nice tips when blocking.
