These mittens with a lace pyramid design on the top of the hand are perfect for the chilly Spring mornings. The construction instructions are written. The lace part is charted only.

Skill level: intermediate.

Techniques: knit in the round, increase/decrease, lace.

Yarn: 200 yards of any fingering weight yarn, solid or variegated colors make a great choice.

Gauge / size:
Size small/medium: 36 stitches and 44 rows = 4” (10cm) in stockinette (US 1 / 2.25 mm needles)
Size medium/large: 32 stitches x 40 rows = 4” (10 cm) in stockinette (US 2 / 2.75 mm needles)

Tools: Size US 1 / 2.25 mm (S/M) or US 2 / 2.75 mm (M/L) double pointed needles (or 1 long circular needle if you prefer magic loop) or size to get gauge; tapestry needle; scissors; 2 stitch markers.
