Directions are given for a lace pattern that can be worked on the cardigan in two different ways, creating two different finished pieces.

Top-down raglan cardigan, labeled as “yarn-over” raglan with decorative yarn-over holes along increase lines. Worked from below the collar to the bottom ribbing, sleeves added as the piece is worked. The sleeves are seamed along the underside, the body is seamless. Stitches are picked up to add ribbed collar and front button band.

Lists size 12, 14, and 16 - these are 1963 sizes, and no measurements are given, so I have no idea how big/small they are supposed to be.

Recommended worked on circular needles, though piece is worked flat. Pattern calls for 1 pair each 29 inch circulars in size 4 and 8, and 1 pair each straight needles of the same size for working the sleeves.
