Lace is timeless and classy, and I’m convinced it goes with anything. These particular chokers I’ve designed to add a dramatic flair to evening attire, or themed outfits for Goth clubs, Renaissance fairs, and Steampunk outfits.

Size:
10 inch pattern design, 2 inches at its widest. Ribbon size 30 inches in total (you can cut the ribbon to size if it’s too long).

Skills:
Lace blocking, increasing and decreasing stitches, yarn over

Yarn: Lace Weight. I use Baby Alpaca Lace for all my choker designs.

Needles: Two US Size 1 (2.25mm) straight needles. You can also use US Size 2 needles without a significant change in how the piece turns out.

Other Materials: About 30 inches of 1-1.5 inch wide ribbon to thread through the ribbon holes, stitch glue (optional), pins for blocking, 1 tiny stitch marker (I use a bit of small wire twisted in a loop).
