I have been asked to write out this simple version of wristlets. So here is a little something ‘just for you’. The easy lace pattern takes no time at all to knit. Great project for some left over yarn. Any Dk weight yarn will work as long as you stick to the gauge of 22 sts= 4 inches. The practical side for these wristlets is they are great at keeping your hands warm when working at the computer, but they also add some romance to your look. You can easily make them any length you like to wear. About 9” is the length shown. Make them 12” for an evening look, or just 3” for a less dramatic effect. My yarn called for a size 5 needle, but some DK or sport weight will suggest a size 6 for the gauge needed.
I have used a Picot Cast on and a Picot Bind off. My Picot Bind off is done slightly different then usual, but it will match the Cast on.
Have fun with this pattern. A good project to try out knitting lace for the first time.
