I used DK yarn and Worsted Yarn for this project. I intentionally used the same needle sizes for either DK or Worsted because finished size matter especially for the fingerless gloves.
It is very simple to follow the cowl. There is no need to put a stitch marker for the cowl.

I suggest, if you are making both, to make the gloves first, so that you can use up all the leftover yarn in the cowl.

Because of the spiral design, the stitch shift every row, and it was more than a challenge to figure out how to work the thumb for the gloves, but I did it after ripping out at least 5 times! Make sure to put stitch markers, and know what stitch of what row you are working on.

This is a birthday gift for Mary, a good customer of ours.
Happy Belated Birthday, Mary!
