This triangular shawl is knit from the bottom point up, with increases worked at the edges of all right-side rows. A section of Circles stitch pattern is followed by vertical columns of central double decreases – and the shawl is finished with a modified Victorian edging along the topline.

I used most of two skeins of Eden Cottage Yarns Lowther Lace in Dianthus colorway. This is without doubt one of the finest yarns I’ve worked with. It is light and soft and lofty and the baby alpaca component provides a halo that I feel is superior to mohair.

You’ll need a US size 4 (3.5mm) 32” (80cm) circular needle and two stitch markers.

My thanks to Eden Cottage Yarns - for their yarn support!
