This simple, lacy crocheted pouch can be used as an elegant gift bag for candies, or for any small items. It can be made in any size thread or yarn, but made in crochet cotton it stands about 3.5” – 4” tall. It would be nice in fine mohair or lace yarn, as well.

Magic Ring, chain (ch), single crochet (sc), sc in back loop (sc in bl), double crochet (dc), slip stitch (slst)

Materials:

• crochet cotton thread, about 25 – 45 yards, depending on the weight of your thread
• size B-1 (2.25mm) crochet hook
• 10” – 12” narrow ribbon or cord
