This is a lacy knit shawl that adds warmth by alternating rows of lacy knit with the basic stockinette stitch. The shawl measures approximately 32” down the center back and 64” across the upper edge and should fit most women. You could make it smaller by eliminating the last pattern section, or larger by adding a pattern section.

Lion Brand Homespun comes in many lovely ‘painterly’ and ‘heathered’ colors - both work up really well. You’ll need 2 skeins.

I have also made a matching daughter shawl by reducing the pattern repeats by 2 or 3, depending on the size of the child.
