Lace and ribbing combine in this simple, sweet, and silky scarf. A breeze to knit, it’s an easy skill-builder for knitters new to lace, and a relaxing project for those more experienced. And once it’s finished—what a gorgeous, gauzy, gossamer adornment!

In this free pattern, we used a double strand of Shibui Silk Cloud—a miraculous silk and mohair blend that lends a weightless luster to delicate lacework. One skein makes a wispy little accessory, while two skeins makes it long enough to wrap around your neck.
