The sample in the photo measures approximately 10 in across and 11 in tall. The yarn used for the sample is approximate to worsted weight.

I have since amended the type of yarn to a double-knitting yarn in order to make the bag the size as indicated in the pattern as I have found that there are many who have followed my pattern and ended up with larger bags than expected.

The size of the bag can be varied by using lighter or heavier yarn. To make most of the textured pattern, it is advisable to line the bag.
